ML/AI Engineer (Foundation Models)

Responsibilities

  • R&D on medical‑AI foundation models; design training and evaluation pipelines
  • Pre‑processing, feature extraction, and inference optimization for multimodal/time‑series data
  • Improving data infrastructure and MLOps to enhance model generalization

Requirements

  • Hands‑on experience with PyTorch or a similar framework
  • Solid understanding of machine learning and statistics; disciplined in code review and reproducibility
  • Fluency in Japanese or English

Nice‑to‑Haves

  • Experience with medical data (sensors, time‑series, imaging, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MLOps (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and distributed training
  • Experience publishing papers, presenting at conferences, or filing patents

Hardware Engineer (Medical Devices)

Responsibilities

  • Sensor design, prototyping, and evaluation
  • Design, implementation, and verification in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Technical coordination for transfer to mass production

Requirements

  • Professional experience in circuitry, mechanics, or embedded systems
  • Basic understanding of safety standards
  • Fluency in Japanese or English

Nice‑to‑Haves

  • Experience with medical‑device regulations or mass‑production design
  • Skills in measurement systems, 3D CAD, and PCB design

QA/RA Specialist: Employment type

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate a QMS; plan and execute regulatory strategy
  • Manage submission documents, audits, and regulatory compliance in Japan and abroad

Requirements

  • Practical experience with ISO 13485 or the Japanese QMS Ordinance
  • Direct experience interacting with regulatory agencies and certification bodies
  • Fluency in Japanese or English

Nice‑to‑Haves

  • Experience with SaMD/AI medical‑device submissions; knowledge of PMDA, FDA, CE
  • Leadership in launching a QMS from 0→1

Required: iOS/Android development experience | Preferred: API integration or on‑device ML
Pay: ¥1,100–2,000 per hour | Workload: Up to 20 hours/week; flexible schedule

Embedded Engineer

  • Microcontroller programming, firmware implementation, soldering, and basic electronics
  • Board design or prototype development as needed

Required: Experience in simple circuit design and microcontroller programming (any language)
Preferred: App integration experience

Hardware Engineer (Prototyping & Housing)

  • 3D CAD modeling, 3D printing, and fit/wearability studies
  • Collaborate with embedded and app engineers to optimize device enclosures

Required: Experience with 3D CAD (e.g., Autodesk) and 3D printing
Preferred: MVP or prototype experience for wearable devices
Pay: ¥1,100–2,000 per hour | Workload: Up to 20 hours/week; flexible schedule
