This includes personal information, pseudonymized information, anonymized information, and other information related to individuals. Our company complies with the fundamental legal norms related to the protection of personal information, including the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (Law No. 57 of 2003), using terms as defined in this law. Furthermore, depending on the services used by customers, there may be specific guidelines set for the handling of personal data for each service. Our company promises to adhere to these guidelines in addition to this basic policy.
Management and Handling of Personal information in Clinical Research
This research (which passed the ethical review on December 2, 2023) is conducted according to a research plan approved by the Ethical Review Committee of the Graduate School of Medicine, Gifu University.
It is based on the “Ethical Guidelines for Research Involving Human Subjects in Life Sciences and Medicine” and related laws concerning the handling of personal information. At the analysis stage, the information handled will be appropriately processed to prevent the identification of individuals. Furthermore, when presenting research results at academic conferences or in papers, careful consideration is given to ensure that the research subjects cannot be identified.
