From his medical student days, he developed an interest in health disparities both domestically and internationally, influenced by experiences such as interning in a Palestinian refugee camp and serving as an executive committee member for the science and ethics section of the 60th Japan-America Student Conference. After gaining experience as an obstetrician/gynecologist in Japan, he studied Public Health in the UK and worked as a consultant at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Currently, he has returned to Japan, working as an obstetrician/gynecologist while also participating in startups both in Japan and abroad. Graduated from Gifu University Medical School, Master’s degree from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
